During 2013 and 2014 the Kindergarten has been awarded the following grants.

$726 was awarded from the Queensland Government Department of Education Training and Employment Diversity Community Engagement Grant. This funding was used for the delivery of a Cultural Diversity Workshop for the kindy teachers and teaching professionals from our surrounding areas to support future diversity in the kindy.

$21,654 was awarded from the Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund for further works on our kindy improvement program. These funds will be used for installation of a shower in our outdoor bathroom block, painting of the external building and some internal areas, replacement of the damaged shed roof, and replacement of the large carpet mats in the kindy rooms.

$740 was awarded from the Brisbane City Council (Morningside Ward) for our end of year bush dance band. This was supported by the Lord Mayor’s Suburban Initiative Fund.

If you have any information on grants which may be applicable to the kindy please contact

The Kindy is a not for profit business with strong links to the community.  These links include relationships with local businesses who donate goods or services for fundraising and advertise in our fortnightly newsletter and website.

Funds raised throughout the year go directly into funding projects within the kindergarten to make it a better place for kids to play and learn.

As a local business, I am sure you will want to have exposure for your business in every possible way.  This includes targeting potential prospects that are directly in line to use your business.  Our advertising targets local families living on the south side of Brisbane within a 20km radius in and around Camp Hill.

Advertising in our fortnightly newsletter is priced at $15/term or $60 annually.  For this, you will be advertised at least twice a term in a special 'Sponsors' banner on the right side of the newsletter. In addition, we will place your flyers in our reception area and on a sponsor’s table at our various functions.  The rate is inclusive of GST and provides exposure per term per financial year.  For most local businesses your investment would be recouped in one job or service not to mention the inherent branding and good will it builds within the community.
